Empusae is the long-running project of Belgian composer Nicolas Van Meirhaeghe, exploring the intersection of dark ambient, ritual, industrial, and cinematic soundscapes. Since the mid-1990s, Empusae has become a respected name within the international ambient scene, known for immersive compositions that blend organic instrumentation, field recordings, ethnic influences, and electronic textures into evocative sonic narratives.

Galakthorrö
Te/DIS is “Tempted Dissident” a German solo performer. He used to fulfill various musical roles while a member of different bands, but now with Te/DIS he intends to concentrate solely on electronic music. This has an angst-poppish underscoring, is kept clear and efficient, precisely structured with hard rhythms, carried by an extraordinary voice. The voice is also that which gives Te/DIS’ music its soul, makes it stand out enabling it to be highly recognisable in future. A Dissident led into temptation, there is no instigation of revolution, but a healthy cynicism is preserved, which stems from his rather generally held opinion about mankind. No one has to share it with him, but that doesn’t lead to the conclusion that he would make fewer friends, does it? (c) Galakthorrö e.K.

Circular is the ambient project of German composer and sound artist Johannes Riedel. Combining analogue synthesizers, modular systems, processed guitars and subtle electronic textures, Circular creates immersive soundscapes that balance hypnotic rhythms with delicate melodic ambience. Rooted in classical composition yet driven by a contemporary electronic vision, Johannes Riedel’s music unfolds with remarkable depth, warmth and attention to detail, inviting the listener into a timeless world of contemplative sonic landscapes.
